OBS with the New NVIDIA NVENC Encoder Improvements Is Available to Beta Test

If you're streaming, its more important to have a consistent fps for your viewers. I'm well aware of the latency introduced with vsync. If you run uncapped, they'll see a lot of jitter and inconsistent frames, in addition to giving them horrible tearing. For me, tearing is worse than the...

OBS with the New NVIDIA NVENC Encoder Improvements Is Available to Beta Test

I just tested it again. I have 1% GPU load difference between streaming and not. Video Engine Load goes to 30% now from ~20%(that's the encoder) Memory Controller Load is 4% difference. Hardly enough to say that there is an impact to using the encoder. I'll say it again from above. GPU...

OBS with the New NVIDIA NVENC Encoder Improvements Is Available to Beta Test

Streamed about 6 hours with the beta today. Half the CPU usage as before. More consistent fps, and MUCH better quality. This is on a 1070ti.

Intel Introduces New 9th Gen Desktop Processors

Yes. Check out LucidLogix Virtu MVP. Used it until it was patched out of Windows. It actually worked very well when I used it on supported games. Additionally you can still use the iGPU for encoding. I'm not sure I'd get one w/o an iGPU. I'd really have to think about it.

Pixel 3 Lite Spy Photos Show a 3.5mm Headphone Jack and Snapdragon 670 [RUMOR]

I replaced my Pixel 1 battery a couple of months ago. It wasn't that much, and very much worth it. I was at 85% power every morning by the time I got to the office, now its 99%. I was getting about a half a day with light use. At this point, I can go all day and be at 60% with about 2 hours of...

Pixel 3 Lite Spy Photos Show a 3.5mm Headphone Jack and Snapdragon 670 [RUMOR]

That's... not actually a bad deal. I'd almost trade my Pixel 1 for that.. but I'd then lose my unlimited photo storage.

IRS Reminds US Taxpayers to Report Crypto Earnings

GPU Prices Skyrocket, Breaking the Entire DIY PC Market

Any coin using the CyptoNight protocol is easily mined on CPU or AMDs. Even a HD7850 pulls in some decent numbers. Monero is one of those, BUT the difficulty is crazy high, so no profitability for older hardware. Last year I tripped over Superior Coin. Been mining with my off hardware since...
