I have the PEGlink disabled. I was getting constant lock ups and crashes in BF2 with the PEGlink on auto. With just 1 video card it would run fine, but as soon as I installed the second card and run them in SLI mode the problems would come back. Took me a few hours to search forums and ask...
I'm trying to find out if anyone has had a problem trying to put this Zalman CNPS9500 LED CPU Cooler
on the mentioned mobo? I'm just truying to find that out before the day is over so I can order my case. If there were problems, could someone please suggest a good HSF pleaase? I've...
Ok, this may take a minute, but I need to sort out all of the facts before I go and drop a bunch of money on something I might not like. Anyway, It's time for me to finalluy buy a new Television fo rthe living area of the house and of course with all of the choices out there it's not as cut and...
I plan on getting this mobo the day it's available, but I have a few quuestions. On the Asus site it says,"Corsair XMS-3500LL PRO Ready The new XMS-3500LL PRO is the industry's first high-density memory that delivers blazing performance at CL2-1T low latency. Available in a matched pair of 1GB...
The very first FPS type game I played was on the Sega Genisis. It was a game called Zero Tolerance. It was the first time I played an FPS game and I have been hooked ever since.
I finaly found my missing Disk 3 from Doom III, trying t install but it seems that I've damaged my disk. I get errors when trying to install. The pak004.pk4 located on disk 3 is corrupt, so if anyone here has the game can I get you to just copy that file to a floder, zip it up, upload it...
How is it that in your snapshots the CPU-z is showing your "link width" in the Motherboard tab for PCI X showing x16? Mine only shows x8, is it because I'm in SLI? Will running a single card run it at x16? I don't understand? Explain please.
I can raise it as far up as x25. The multi is unlocked. Weird thing is, after I raise it to x15 I'm running @ 3.0GHz, at least that's what it says in the bios, but in all of my apps like Everrest, clockgen and cpu-z they all read 2.8. I wonder why the clock change is not being detected?
I have this mobo and you'd be better off getting an Asus or a DFI. I'm waiting for the new Asus board to hit before I upgrade again. I've had nothing but trouble with this piece of crap mobo. I'll never deal with MSI again.
Ok, I've found the multiplier, when I chnge it to x15 and reboot the settings say x15 in the BIOS but when I open clockgen or core center it still reads stock speeds. Any ideas?
Ok, I've been trying to figure out where the multiplier for the CPU is in the BIOS of my mobo, but I can't seem to find it. If you have the same mobo and know where it is or what it's called on this mobo (specs in sig) can you please help me out here? Thankx.
I call Asus yesterday asking about a tenative release date fot this board, I was told that it'll be out this month in Taiwan, and the US will get it in a few months.
I think I'll let the X2 mature a bit before I jump on th bandwagon. Once they start making multi-threaded games , then I'll switch. I'm a Benchmark Whore and I love games. I wanted the best gaming experience possible, that's the reason I went with 2 GTX's and the FX-57. I mainly watch TV, play...
This is the PSU I finally decided on.
Anyone here have this PSU? If so what is your take on it? It's a certified PSU for SLI and I know it has to kick the shit outta the Ulta-X psu I have in my box now. Going to make the switch this weekend.
