I was looking at some of the TV's at costco. I am open to getting a smaller computer monitor that is around 30 inches. Just as long as it has HDMI inputs, component and when it downscales 1080p it doesnt look like shit.
Hey guys,
I am in the market for a new LCD, I want something that works great for hooking up my computer and laptop. I play a lot of Xbox 360 and watch HD Telivision. I am upgrading from a CRT 1080i TV. I would like to spend at most $1500 for the Monitor, and make sure it has 1080P and can go...
Introduction
I purchased the monitor through Amazon direct, and it was shipped directly to my college post office box. It arrived in solid packaging, and the package had no signs of physical damage or abuse. The LCD package, consisted of the LCD monitor, a DVI cable, analog cable, calibration...
I just purchased a SDM-HS94P/S from Amazon for $809.99 and the $100 off rebate. It's being shipped up to my dorm room, and I should be able to hook it up and give you guys some of my impressions as soon as wed. Hopefully no dead pixels or anything like that :)
Aerobahn could you post some pictures of the Sony and the 710T alongside, so we can get an idea of how much larger the Sony is than the Samsung, I'm trying to decide between the two, I need an LCD for college, and right now I'm thinking that the bezel on the Sony may be too large. I greatly...
The only way to control the decoder is via the remote, so you can imagine how many buttons it has. It's pretty nice though, great button layout, but $99 just for a remote seems stupid doesnt it
It's obvious that most people in these forums usually build the machines themselves, however I've got a pretty busy schedule, and the convenience of knowing that if anything goes wrong with the system for the next 3 years, it will be taken care of perfectly, was well worth the premium I paid for...
I got the DD-5.1 so that I could use my Klipschs to power my Xbox Audio, and my cable TV, but you guys are right, I really cant tell a difference in audio quality between digital and analog at this point with an Audigy 2. As far as the connection, Im using a monster digital coxial cable to...
I have been using digital speakers for over 4 years now, I started with Altec Lanzing Ad885, four channel speakers, then progressed over to Logitech Z680's. My computer was always on digital output only via the soundcard, and I used a coxial cable to connect the speakers.
However under the...
The paintjob is not worth $1500, no way in hell. I got a pretty decent discount on the paintjob, so I stepped up and got the logo's as well.
Prior to this Falcon-NW, I had a Voodoo PC, it took them over 50 days to deliver my machine, and it ultimately went back for a full refund. I hate that...
I paid a premium for it no doubt, but it's super fast and the service was top notch. I did not buy the monitor through Falcon, it's an old dell p991 that's around 5 years old.
ok under size/center, the top first one is 63, second down is 56, third is 86, fourth is 47
under geometry, the first one is 54, second 36, third 26, fourth 48, and fifth is 47.
Hope that helps you out, yeah Falcon Northwest makes some great machines, to see the rest of the pictures head...
Yes, it is a Falcon-NW Mach V machine, it was built in around 3 weeks. Haha yes Sandman, that is a sticker covering up the dell logo on my monitor, wouldnt have it any other way, at least until I can pick up that HP L235 LCD :D
I know it isnt modded, but I've always prefered sleek and sophisticated compared to flashing light show and edgy. Standard Mach V with Exotix Paint job with 16 layers of paint and clearcoat, I've seen nicer, but for what I wanted, suits me just fine. :)
I went to go look at the monitor at my local Circuit City, and they didnt have one available, they did however have the other 19 and 17 inch sony LCD's, which feature the same bezel and glass covering, the reflection wasnt as bad as I would have thought, and it wasnt anywhere near the reflection...
As far as differences, the Ultra's feature upgraded tweeters in every satellite as well as physical upgrades as well, the subwoofer is much deeper, and it has been enlarged. The Control pad is also different on the Ultra's.
I've owned the Logitech z680's, the Pro Media 5.1's, and the Ultra's...
I'm really interested in the Sony, I need a nice quality LCD for my dorm room next year, and I need to purchase it around Mid-August. I currently use a 19inch Sony Trinitron CRT, and I've decided that I dont want to lose any screen real estate, so the Samsung 710 is outta the picture, right now...
unfortunately, sonystyle.com cannot provide a shipment date for that monitor, so your probably going to wait just as long as us to get your hands on one.. :(
