1.5 or 2gb?

Now after the holidays I somehow have all this cash and I want to upgrade my ram from 1gb to something better (2x512 DC). So would it be worth getting a 1gb stick now and pay the extra or get 1 512mb stick and get another later? I have 4 slots. I found out that the prices for DDR400 dropped at the store

EDIT: I play BF2 and some old games but I am going to buy C&C3 the second it comes out and supreme commander when that comes out ^_^

I have had my sig system with 2 512 OCZ plats + 2 256 OCZ gold,and it worked fine in DC,even oc'd up to 225,and that made for a cool 1.5Gb exactly.It most certainly made a difference in games,like bf2.

Well i'll only get a 512 stick today

EDIT: My 2 current sticks OC to 230 fine with a 2:3 ratio and the CPU at 2.7ghz (3200+)
