1.5TB Seagate 7200rpm 32MB $150 w/FS @ ZZF (NO MIR!!!)

Totally would jump on this [DAMMIT]....

If it wasn't for the many horror stories about drive failures for these.

Seagate, not samsung... still a great deal!

Crap I'm in for one even though I can't afford it...

I've been waiting for these prices. Bought 2... time to RAID 1 these babies and say bye bye to my 500gb's.

That's very impressive, unfortunately I'm not currently in the U.S. and I just bought a 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F1 less than 1 month ago for $119 CAD. At the rate I consume storage, it'll take me about 6 to 8 months to fill up a terabyte, so I'll pick up whatever's the best deal 8 months from now, who knows, maybe a 2TB or 3TB HD :D

I had just ordered one of these from newegg the other day for 170...so I see this for 150 at zzf and decide to chat up newegg...newegg said they don't normall do this but said they would refund me the $20 difference!!!!

wow, i paid 169.99 for my samsung 1TB back in June =(....I'll wait until the 2TB's come around =D

great price, thanks OP

Thanks, I corrected it on my post, but don't know how to change the title in the section. I PM'd the moderator.

dead deal. its 180 now.

Wow. Changing the deal in the middle of the day. I guess they were selling too many. This is hella bait and switch. Shame shame on ZZF. Get all the advertising out, and hopefully they're sucker a few in to just click and buy without paying attention. Why do you throw your sale off at 3:00 in the afternoon??

I just finished upgrading my Windows Home Server to 8x1TB. Glad this deal is dead or I'd be bummed.

Zipzoomfly change the price so quickly.

This morning they were selling the Seagate 1 Terabyte for $100 so I bought one. Three hours later it went up to $120.

Then I saw this thread about 1/2 an hour later and I bought one Seagate 1.5 Terabyte for $150. Three hours later it went up to $180.

Well, at least I bought the 1 terabyte and the 1.5 terabyte when it was cheaper this morning. A total of 2.5 terabyte for $250 is not too bad. It will be cheaper a month from now.

I rip too many blu-ray movies so 2.5 terabyte is nothing. I already fill up the 1 terabyte HD at home in less than 2 weeks.

Yeah. You have to rip them and convert them just so they'll play in MCE. Worth it though, plus all your vids are backed up.

This deal went really quick, I was so busy that I completley missed it.

Good price, but i dont need the space yet. When i need it...it'll be cheaper...i'll wait.

That's a lot of porn.

I thought that issue was with the 1Tb drives

edit: nm, reviews shows this turkey having a high failure rate, guess thats why all the e-tailers are blowing them out

I ordered 2 during the beginning of October. They make some clicking noises when spinning up, but they both passed numerous diagnostic tests. Still running fine.

1.5 TB drives will probably be ~100 on black friday

waiting

its $149 right now on tigerdirect.com and in their stores, bought 2 last night at the flagler (miami) store
