120mm fan on the Antec P180 with Dust filter?

As I didn't really see any need for the center lower chamber fan, I moved it to the top chamber front! However, it's seems impossible to install the fan there with the bracket and dust filter!! I've installed the 120mm there without the bracket, but because its so close the front, the dust filter can't be put on!
 
i just did this too, my filter rubs on the fan blade. i think some fan have thicker blades.

i modified mine alil bit. i have the bottom two tabs hooked and the top two just hanging with some padding to push it out more. then you just close the door and voila, perfect.

i will have a new thread of my mods soon, i think i did a good job on my p180.

I just snapped my front fan's blade doing that :-( Now without an intake!

now you have to edit and go not liable for mistakes. :D
 
Yeah, I dont have a problem either. If I push on the right tab that holds the filter in place, then it barely touches the blades. Other than that, it works fine.
