Yes, they're for quadro only. You linked to a completely different driver set.

Most of these 'Quaddro only' drivers just need an edited .ini file to allow usage with other cards. You can usually find the drivers with the pre-edited file at unofficial sites.

While on the nVidia site says that it only supports Quadro's, if you read the nv_disp.inf file it also supports GeForce 6, 7, and 8 series so theres no need to edit the file.

There is no entry for the 8800GS in the x64 version so I had to do a manual installation as an 8800GT. I hope these work with CUDA 2.0 beta.

They're working great with my XFX 8800GT. Been stressing them and testing with games for a few hours and haven't had any issues. Performance may be slightly better and I'd swear IQ is improved.
