I want a tablet pc! can be old as heck. Also these pictures will be brighter in person as I have the lights on in my room
This is an overhead projection panel. You put it on an overhead and the light goes through the lcds and onto the wall. In essence It's a poor mans big screen tv. I got my screen on this to be about 109" diagonal. I bought these off ebay a couple months ago and have used them with my pc cable and xbox. I have since bought a real high def projector and no longer need these. These are awsome for parties too.

Here are some shots a guy who doesn't have a very good overhead got with one of these panels http://www.louisville.edu/~wchall01/diyprojector/pictures.htm
and here is a list of various panels that are on the market

2x Nview z115
They take vga. composite and s-video input. These support a 640x480 resolution and have active matrixes which means you won't have to suffer through ghosting which is a problem for many of these types of screens. One of them has a couple dead pixels on it but they are only noticible on solid images and not hard to ignore. The other one is completely clear of dead pixels and I know I have at least one of the remotes. I am missing the power supply for one of these but you can use any 12v adapter over 2.9 amps to power it and you can get those on ebay fairly easily.

I'm looking to get $55+ shipping for the one with a couple dead pixels
I'd like to get 65 + shipping for the one clear of all dead pixels.

The power supply will be an extra 10$ and will got to whoever orders one first. If your interested check the power supply for your monitor. That's what I used before I got the other one that already had a power supply. You can usually find a compatible power supply for $15 on ebay

I also have a leather carrying case that I will add for $5 or throw in free should someone decide to buy both of them. It can hold 2 at a time.

Here is a shot of one of those z115's panels in action these screens are smaller than the Chisholm screen. These shots are from the same distance so you can see the size difference of the image projected

Dukane 5500 and chisholm k-12 projection panel. This is what I used before I bought my $600 projector. It is very very nice. It has a s-video vga and composite connection. It is 10.4 inches diagonal and has better picture quality than the nviews do. No scratches at all perfect condition Includes power adapter wireless infared remote and a couple video cables. Pics coming. I want to sell this with my projector as I won't have any use for it once it's gone. I want to get $250 + shipping

Here is a picture of the projector in action It's about 10 feet from the wall and I'm 6 feet 2 inches to give that shot some perspective.

Here is a picture of the projector itself and the black hard case is for the chisholm screen. You can see my favorite albeit exspensive projector in the back :)

I have refs under umbra! on both heatware and ebay and I have done most of my deals here. If you have a question pm me and please bump

It looks like it... Check your local school dumpsters! :D Bump for neat items

i've always wanted to try one of these out with a really bright overhead projector.. is there anyway you can go lower on the one with the few dead pixels?

does $60 sound good? If a friend doesn't one of the other panels not listed here they may come to the thread overhead I have they will also be coming to the thread. The projector is a dukane 5500 which is appropriately 5,500 lumens which is very bright and has a nice colour temperature. It's also the highest you can go before you start going metal halide which cost a load of money and then a chisholm k-12 lcd which is better than the other two screens in my opinion and also 10.4" diagonal compared to those nview screens which were 8.4" diagonal. I will go over some basics of projection panels for those who don't know about them.

Projection panels are lcd that have no backlight and you can see throught them. You place them on an overhead projector. you may have seen your math teacher use them in school. The difference between the ones they use and these is that these screens can do full screen video and sometime highdefinition depending on the panel you buy. these screens can be hooked up to computers,tv, camcorders, pretty much anything. they have composite, s-video, and vga, These are relics of the begining of the compact projector age. These projectors were eventually replaced by 3 smaller screens inside of projectors which used red green and blue to represent the color spectrum. Now that I went off on a tangent here is some more useful knowledge. the lcds depending on their models have their ups and downs. a 10.4 inch lcd will have bigger pixels than a 8.4" lcd of the the same resolution because the pixels are stretched to fit the screen. however if you willing to defocus your projector slightly which most people do anyway these larger pixels will blend and become imperceptible. Now 8.4" lcds also tend to be dimmer because less light is passing through them in comparison to a 10.4" lcd simply by the fact that less light can pass through the available screen space. That's all for now I will add more as I think of it.

whatever I need some cash I will take 55 for the one with a couple dead pixels and 70 for the one without any dead pixels I found one of their remotes too which will go to the first buyer
