Does anyone know if your typical 1600x1200 KVM will be enough to handle a 20" ACD with a native resolution of 1680x1050?

eh ... well it will be a pain because you have to get some kind of converter I believe the connecter on that monitor that will be on a KVM

yeah...you would have to get an ADC to VGA (or DVI if you could find that type of KVM) adapter but you would probably have overscan if you did that since it sounds like it wouldn't be able to display the entire image

No, I'm not talking about ADC. ACD = Apple Cinema Display, the name of the LCD, and it uses a standard DVI interface.

Again, and let me try and be crystal clear, does anyone out there use a KVM with an Apple Cinema Display?

THAT is why it looks like you are wanting to know about the ADC version...as to the second question....I don't know of anybody using a KVM on either version
