Seeing that Dell's site lists availability as '3-5 weeks', I was wondering where else might be a good place to get one of these...I don't care much for EBay, if that helps.

My guess is that there is no other IPS panel that compares to this, for the overall cost; Any that might be somewhat of a substitute in the interim though?
 
I bought one on ebay couple days ago for $218. No tax, free shipping. Beats Dell by $100 when not on sale. I'll let you know if it was worth the risk or not when it comes on the 29th.

I don't know of any other place that doesn't sell it at double the price.
 
When I ordered mine, they said 3-5 weeks...I received it in 4 days. So you can always test your luck....
 
Dell had them online in their outlet yesterday for $189 but I think only w/ a 90 day warranty.
 
Looked as though there were 'new' models in the outlet, with 3-5 year warranties attached to them.

Any real difference between Outlet, and the rest of Dell's site?

I may give this a try.
 
I have been checking everyday for outlet 2209wa monitors and haven't seen any. Am I looking in the right place? Is the listing different if I go to Small business as opposed to Home?
