2405 fpw & hdtv box via component didn't work

I got it to work, I had to flip a switch on the back of the hdtv receiver box..
 
I think it accepts all. 480p, 720p, 1080i

I outputted the signal on the hdtv box to different res and all were displayed.

when outputting HD through component how does it compare on this LCD to say a RPTV or any other HD TV sets?
 
I only spent a little time with it but for a 1920 display it's pretty good. You would need to adjust the colors for component - since it was a little dark.
 
Does the HDTV box have DVI out? I've never used one so I don't know for sure
 
Yes it does but I only tried the component out... since i have the dvi hooked up to my computer. Component looks close enough to dvi in hd anyway.

What about the big one.... 1080P... interlaced signals are so gross :p

Also, you say you have the DVI out on your HD box going INTO your computer??? please clarify.
 
DVI from my computer goes to the monitor.

Component out on the HDTV box goes to the monitor - I was just testing. Since I already have an hdtv.
 
How does it treat the HD/widescreen signal? Does it streach it to a 16:10 image or will it keep it 16:9?
