2600XT 1:1 pixel mapping issue with HDMI/HDTV

When try to connect to my 42" Sony LCD rear projection TV (720p native) via HDMI from 2600XT, under Vista the card detect and set to 720p (1280x720), but the display area is smaller than TV screen leaving black bars, so in CCC, I tried to adjust scaling bar, when it set to maximum overscan (righmost and valued 0), the text looked "relatively" clearest, however the display area "zoomed" outside of the TV screen, is this normal?

How to achieve 1:1 pixel mapping in 720p resolution to get the better picture quality result? TIA :D
