I just got an Areca Arc-1231ML card for a media server I'm building. It came with a 256MB DIMM, but I was wondering if I should upgrade the cache to 2GB. Actually, I've already made up my mind to upgrade it, so I'm really wondering which DIMM to get. Looks like I can get just about any 2GB module for around $40 right now.

from the areca website:
One DIMM socket with default 256MB of DDR2-533 SDRAM with ECC protection, Upgrade to 2GB. An ECC or non-ECC SDRAM module using X8 or X16 chip organization

Any suggestions? Does it matter?
