2x3 GB plus existing 2x1 GB

This has probably already been asked but I couldn't find anything on it; has anyone found issues with having an existing 2x1 GB set-up and adding a 2x2 GB set of sticks to it?

Same brand, same voltage etc... and yup I'm using x64.

any input would be much appreciated.

There is no hard fast answer. The only way to know is to install and test. It "should" work but there are no guarantees.

Agreed. You will probably find that some board and memory combinations will work, and some will not.

Thanks for the info lads, some of the prices out there are just tough to pass up right now. I may just give it a shot and see where I land.

I have not had any problems with 2x1gb and 2x2gb, they are even different brands (OCZ and Corsair Dom.), I am running all at 2.1volts and 4-4-4-4-15...
