Hello, I am in the market to increase from a 27" 1440p display over to a 32" 1440p display. I just purchased an nvidia 1080ti but prefer not to go to ultrahd yet because I prefer to have more FPS than 60 and with this card 1440p isnt a problem for pretty much any game. I am aware of the HP Open. Anything else out there that would make sense? Thanks

Changing the physical panel size from 27" to 32" 1440p won't change the horsepower needed. If you want to take advantage over 60fps then you want a higher refresh panel.

Are you wanting Gsync or not?

There are a bunch of non-gsync 32" 1440p panels from Acer (PB328Q), ASUS (B326HUL), BenQ (BL3200PT), HP (Omen 32), and LG just to name a few. You have a myriad of options from VA to IPS panels, refresh rates, and response times. Some will do 75hz but most are stuck at 60 unless you move into the Korean panels or go down to 27".

If you wanted Gsync then you would need to go down to 27" or up to 34" Ultrawide.

At 34" you have several options including the Acer X34, Asus PG348Q, and the HP Omen X35. All three are great. The Acer and Asus use the same panel and are IPS. The Omen uses a VA panel and has a tighter curve. The 1080ti will take advantage of the 100hz refresh on all three.

I have not used a 1440p 27" Gsync panel. The Acer XB271HU will do 165hz.

if you're not in a hurry, there will be some 32" 1440p VA monitors with 144Hz 1ms and quantum dot backlighting by Samsung later this year, we dont know yet how good they would be, but I have my hopes up for them as Im looking for the same thing
