5 CDs to 1 DVD

I've managed to get stuck with a few multiple CD games lately, and since I have a DVD drive I'm wondering if I can stick all of the data from the multiple CDs and put them on a single DVD, and have the game install and play normally.

I've heard of people doing this with certain games, but not much. Anyone know anything about doing this?

It depends if the game is looking for a CD volume label or just the physical data on a drive. The majority use volume labels to make sure the correct CD is in the drive. That's why it isn't done frequently. In most cases, it's just easier to do a full install on your hard drive.
