As I mentioned in a previous message, I couldn't get my 5750 to post on my kid's computer. So I installed it in mine and it worked fine. I use 2 4850s in crossfire, X38 MB and e8400 with Win 7. While I had it in there, I decided to benchmark it compared to my 4850s. I only tried Crysis (ver 1.21 64-bit). Here are some results (all run at 0AA, 16AF, Cat 9.12 w/o hotfix):

4850 single

1 15.44 37.14 29.85
2 15.44 37.14 30.11
3 15.44 37.14 30.21

2 16.52 36.37 27.77
3 16.52 36.77 27.87

1 3.76 29.25 22.57
2 3.76 32.19 32.19
3 3.76 32.19 32.19

5750 OC 850/1375

1 14.67 38.67 28.69
2 14.67 38.93 28.73
3 14.67 38.93 28.74

It ran fine at those overclocks, alyjough I only ran it for a day. Also, idle temp for the single 4850 was about 71c, but the idle temp for the 5750 OC was 40c. I wish it ran in my kid's computer. As it is, I returned it and placed one of the 4850s in their machine. I'll probably get a 5850 for myself when the prices drop. The 5750 seems like a really nice card for a system...when it works.

Crysis is such a POS game... No one plays it and only Nvidia users use it to benchmark...

LOL @ Crossfire 4850's running slower than a single 4850. I ran 4850's in crossfire for over a year and the performance improvement with 2 cards over one card was absolutely fantastic. 4850's in crossfire even got the Hardocp Editors Choice Gold Award in their review last September.

I don't own those other games they benchmark with, so I used what I have. Never got too far into it, anyway. I was most interested in comparing the 4850 to the 5750 so I didn't really care how it compared to Nvidia. If it was a little faster, I would have kept it and sold one of the 4850s. It was interesting to me that the crossfire didn't work in Crysis. I figured that would be working by now. By the way, my 4850s are both 512M versions. The 5750 is the 1GB.
