All I have seen so far is the watercooled setup. Also update your post to say 5850 and not 4850 :)

I thought the voltage on 5xxx series is adjustable? I know I'm able to adjust the core voltage on my 5870 via MSI Afterburner and you don't have to have an MSI card to use it. There is no option for memory voltage.

softmod able, all ati reference design are.
I got a His 5850, running 850mhz.
no issues, using msi afterburner with amd gpu tool.

waiting for asus bios for 5850.

Me too. Trying to be patient.

Using gpu tool and afterburner it seems like the sweet spot with my card is 880/1200 @ 1.162v. Temps don't get too high, load around 70C with 45% fan, and seems rock stable in games so far (batman, wolfenstein, re5).

What kind of fps gains are you getting from the 5850 at those overclocks? I'd be interested to see how close an Oc'd 5850 can get to stock 5870 performance.

Okay, I just did a quick test.

Platform: Sig Rig
Game: Resident Evil 5 Fixed Benchmark
DirectX version: 10
Resolution: 1920x1080
8xAA (set in-game, disabled in CCC)
16xAF (set in CCC)

Results
Stock clock: 42.4fps Avg.
5850 @ 880/1200: 49.4fps Avg.

Also, my vantage score at 880/1200 is only around 14,234 GPU score. I think the 5870's at stock pull around 16k in vantage.

My vantage seems low for some reason. I think I get around 13k GPU score at stock.

I get 17k gpu score.
vantage at 4ghz and 1ghz gpu.
I also run the 5850 watercooled, which can affect voltage/temp and maybe performance?

Okay, I did some more testing. I pulled a 15697 Vantage GPU score @ 880/1200. I disabled all of the AA and AF options in CCC and also turned off the MSI OSD.

However, I just enabled EIST and other power saving options for my CPU (C1 halt, etc.) and my score dropped to 15156. However, my sig rig now idles at 99 watts (checked using watt checker) as opposed to 154 watts before. So I think I am going to take the 3.5% performance hit to gain the 35% power savings at idle.

I am now using Asus bios with MSI afterburner for voltage and custom fan curve and CCC overdrive for setting clocks.

@flopper,
Watercooling your 5850...sweeeeet!
