6800 Go

I just bought an Inspiron 9300 with the 256mb 6800 go. Does anyone know how this compares to the desktop 6800? What core config does Dell use in these cards? Is it the 300/300 or 450/600? How well will this machine handle the games of goodness?

The default freq is 290/590 MHZ iirc but they can overclock so very very high. I had mine at 350/745 MHZ, and it could go higher. Overclocked, that card can compare to a 6800gt almost.

Also, the hard drive isnt too bad either. If it has the 8mb cache, I wouldnt worry. The data density is higher than the 60gb 7200, and in fact the 100gb 5400rpm hard drive is just as fast as the 60gb 7200rpm in certain areas.
