6800GT video playback problems

Hey [H]ers, I've been out of the loop for a few months.

Anyways I've been having a little problem with my 6800GT. When I play videos or movies (normally .mpg's, sometimes .avi's) the video intermittently stutters/skips from time to time. The sound stays clear, but the video skips. I know it's not the file itself because the chopping takes place at different places in the video depending on the time I play it, and with my old 9500pro I never had this issue.

I'm running Omega 66.93 drivers (old I know, but works like a SOB with CSS). Hopefully someone here can offer me some help?

I looked and know nothing about the Omega drivers, sorry.

Terra - Not much help I know.
 
Try the latest official nvidia drivers, there have been optimizations made for videos. Omega drivers don't really take things like that into consideration.
