6800NU overclock brag thread

I had a gainward GS 2-slot that did 410/920, an evga reference that did 386/890 and a chaintech AA6800OC that did 392/402.

Hey people, how are your 6800NU cards running at 1.4V? Is it alright? I think I read somewhere that some 6800's running 1.4V crapped out after a few months. I was wondering maybe is there a way to get it to go 1.3V? And what is stock on the 6800?

I have a NV5 silencer, hopefully it will be alright with the 1.4Vcore.

Can't wait till I get home to try this out..hopefully it won't crap out.

GO XFX 6800!

Stock gpu voltage for a 6800nu is 1.2V.
As far as I know , there is no way to get 1.3V through bios modding , you can get 1.1 , 1.2 , 1.4 , 1.5 .

Frankly , IMHO the difference 20-30mhz on the core will do in real games is negligible , it's mostly about 3Dmark scores.

It's up to you to decide if the gain is worth the higher temperature and the risk of premature death.

375/850

What's weird is, if I enable 16/6, i have to lower my clocks big time

Given the fact that your last bank of pipes was disabled by default, I'd say that having to back down the Mhz is more "normal" than "weird". The big question is, how did the lower clock and extra pipes affect your benchmarks? I'm all about max FPS, and I'm reviving this thread cuz it's suddenly near and dear to my heart. My card is now watercooled.

Looks like I’m a little late to this thread :D

I run 400 core / 720 mem with no problem. I have the pci-e version so I can’t unlock the pipes. Oh well.

I hate the "NU" part of this thread... 472 Core, 1250 RAM, but it's an Ultra AGP :D

I've had 2 Geforce 6800NU (ASUS, 128MB DDR, AGP) cards.

The first one couldn't get higher than 350/860 (12x1,6) with stock cooling.
The second one was a lot better, it ran stable @ 410/900 (16x1,6) with a Zalman VF-900CU.
Both without touching voltages or flashing the bios.

The second one was a nice price/performance card but I had to sell it to buy a X1800XT. :]
