7600GT for BF2

Just wondering what kind of settings you guys play BF2 with at with this GPU? (its pci-e)

Its only $80 now so I'm thinking of getting into BF2.
 
Also, be sure to include your FPS as well. See, a lot of the times people will reply saying "it places decent". I dont know what decent means.

Is it in the high 20s?

40s?
 
21 crt monitor goes up to 1880 x 1440. I dont expect to play at this high resolution obviously but 1200 x 720 or higher will do.
 
mine does 1280*1024 2x trss AA with everything high fine, averaging 49 fps never going under 25
 
You aren't gonna be able to slap on 4x anti-alaising with high settings but it should do the trick. Had a 64 3500, and 7300GS that played it very well at 1024x768.
 
My second PC has a Asus 6800GT (AGP) that runs BF2 1280x1024 with all settings on high. No AA though. Runs smooth.
 
With a x2 3800+ with 2gig mem I could play it @1280x1024, settings @high and 4xaf constantly @50fps or higher
 
Battlefield 2 can make your system to it's knees depending on the map and how many players you are playing with...

With a card like 7600gt... You should be able to play 1280x800 everything on high if you have 1.5gigs of memory and decent CPU with 60 players on map or maybe 1440x900 8xAF no AA...

I had a 850xt should be in the range of 7600gt and that would let me play everything on HIGH 1440x900 8xAF... But then again Radeon cards run better on this game... With Pentium D it would hover around 25-50fps... WIth Core 2 duo I was hovering 45-80fps with 60 players...

As for these guys saying they're running 4xAA 1280x1024... Even my 1900gt has a hard time doing that with the above mentioned scenario if I don't want it to dip below below 30fps ever...
