Ok, So after having my board for about 6 months, I'm finally getting around to pushing my E8400. Mostly because now I can afford to break it.
However, I'm getting some strange things happening.
E8400 (3.00ghz 9x stock 1.25volts Stock)
4 Gigs DDR2 1066mhz
First off, I don't have speedstepping enabled (or it's counterparts) and I don't have spectrums enabled either.
Well, since starting to write this I figured out the first problem. For anyone coming after me, CPU N/2 Ratio adds +0.5 to your multiplier. For some reason mine was enabled.
Anyways, now for the second problem. If I set the mobo to give me 1.35volts, save exit and restart, when I enter it shows the setting still at 1.35v but the current value at 1.32v. What gives? More importantly, what is my current voltage really at? After writing this I just realized I didn't look at the monitoring screen. So I'll hit that up when I get home.
