Bleh I used driver cleaner each time, guess it's not gonna give me much of a boost, im gonna run them again at a lower resolution, I don't know why I was using 1920.

Now that I think about, and see more posts, maybe I was running the 82.12 drivers. Maybe they were screwed up and I just never noticed.

seems i've lost just tad in 3dmark 05 with the 82.65. Went from 8020 with 81.98's to 7989 with 82.65. Im think im gonna try the 83.10 betas later on.

i had my FPS in that benchmark test go from 67.6 all the way to 99.1, i thought it was a fluke too untill i ran the benchmark again and got a similar score ><.

Dunno if ur running a dual core but these drivers are supposed to be optimized/fix some of the Dual core issues. *shrugs* could be

Call of Duty 2

1280x1024 2xAA 8xAF in DX7, textures on Extra

My own personal timedemo was used

81.85 - 130.8fps
82.65 modified - 129.1fps

Within the margin of error, so i would consider these equal for COD2's sake, i will report my findings with Q4 later

This was with a 6800AGP 128mb at stock

*EDIT* Q4 same performance, about 2 fps more

81.95 - 7722 3DMarks
82.65 - 7434 3DMarks

I need my bungholiomarks.

I'm going back to 81.98.

These drivers must be ancient. They don't seem to have dual core optimizations, the nvapps.xml is older than my grandma and the WDM drivers don't work so i can't capture video. Back to 91.98.

I just installed these drivers last night, saw TINY increases in some benchmarks, and got slightly lower in others (from what I remember, down 10fps in cs:s and down a tiny bit in 3dmark05). I was crossing my fingers and hoping for big gains, oh well

Yep, these drivers have problems. I've had 1 nvcpl crash and DXVA is slow.
