8600gts + 7800gtx = good for hd playback?

I currently have a 7800gtx for my dual display. I want to get a new card to play movies on my tv.

From what ive been told the 8600gts is one of the best cards to play hd movies. So can I combine these 2 cards with no problems? Well this setup work?
 
If it's just to play stuff on your TV, save your money and go with an 8500GT or something.

^^ - 8500GT will play everything you need. If you want great all-round performance for low cost, 8600GT.
 
Thanks for the help guys. I wasn't sure if two different cards could coexist but I guess they can. Im going to go ahead and order the 8600gt now :)

I suggest the XFX 8600GT XXX or the MSI NX8600GT OC.
