8800GTS 320/640 length??

I am looking at getting rid of my 7800GTX that is in my HTPC and want to get a GTS. Mostly becasue I game on my Plasma and want HDCP.

Problem is I can't seem to find the info I need to see if it will fit. The case I am using for my HTPC is a Silverstone Crown and my 7800GTX fits fine. Just cant be too much longer.

Does anyone have an acurate size difference between the 7800GTX and the 8800GTS?

gts is 9" long, measure if you have room.

Be aware though, you're upgrading from last years original flagship product to this years upper-midrange/lower-flagship product. You'll get the features you want and a performance increase but dont expect night and day unless you get the GTX.

I have a GTX in my Main Rig with an EK full cover waterblock and it is everything I had hoped it could be. Just didnt want to buy a card that I couldn't fit as my HTPC does allot of recording

I went from 7800gtx to 8800gts and barely noticed a difference in size.

Will find out for sure tonite. Waiting for some recording to finnish and I will see how she fits. Picked one up this afternoon
