8800GTS G92 512MB For Sale ......

When someone does a step-up with EVGA do they take whatever you paid(even if it was overpriced) into account towards the price difference between whatever new card you're stepping up to>>
for example I buy a 8800gts g92 for 400$ and their new card released in february costs(EVGA's web site price) 500$
is the difference owed 100$?

Yes, as long as it's within 90 days, you have the sales invoice/email, the original packaging, it was from an authorized distributer, and the card is undamaged.

Let's say the invoice consists of many items: motherboard, PSU, hard disk, etc and with only one total amount in the bottom, how do we determine the cost of the video card?

Guess you'll have to work out that one with EVGA or request an itemized invoice from whoever you bought it from.

invoices are itemized. EVGA asks that you circle the video card order in MS paint when you email the invoice to them.
