8800GTS G92 wierd noise

I just got my new MSI 8800GTS G92. When I use atitools and try to find a good OC, I noticed that there is a slight whining noise (very low) coming from the G92 PCB. There looks to be like a speaker on the card (small black circular cylander on the upper right of the 6 pin power connector). Can someone confirm? Is this something I should be worried about?

It is fairly common under certian apps (particularly AtiTools) and is "normal". It's nothing you can do anything about, so don't worry about it. Some cards are worse than others, so if it really, really bothers you you might be able to RMA the card, although the new one might be just as bad or worse.

good to know i'm not the only one. Sucks to put in all that expensive watercooling to keep the noise down only to hear this buzzing. The only GTS doesn't do it >_<
