8800GTS heat

So when I first had my GTS it was teh only expansion card in my case. @600/1750 it would idle at 49 or 50C. I just put in a sound card 2 slots down, now it idles at 58C. Is this normal?

well that seems plausible, the sound card could interrupt the air flow thus making your vid card a little hotter, u could try putting some extra fans to cool things out

yes, but could you move the sound card down any further? If so do that, and add another fan near the card.

yea mine idled at 58 before I water cooled it
