We have a project with the city I work for with a 900mhz mobile radio setup for city vehicles. We are using the GE MDS Inet-II and I'm wondering if these radios use a standard 900mhz frequency or use something unique. What I'm curious is, if they will be interfered with by standard 900mhz mini-pci cards from a computer or other 900mhz equipment.

Or possibly other companies 900mhz stuff? It is the ISM spectrum so i'm assuming nobody has rights to anything but i've been told GE uses some special frequency in it at work and it shouldn't be a problem? What about HAM radio operators? I have a feeling this is going to all be an issue that nobody has considered at all and needs to be looked into.
