I am looking at a Lian Li PC-V1200 case but I have a problem. I have an Adaptec ATA RAID 2400A card (it is 12” long). This is a massive card but that is not the problem. I am afraid that the 18” cables will not reach into the bottom drive area. I have 7 HD’s, 2 DVD recorders and a vid card to install besides the Adaptec card.
I really feel that I need the extra depth of the extended case because of the length of the card and with 6 18” parallel cables, I do not feel it will stretch that far.
The only other options that I have seen are the PC-73SL and the PC-75. I would be happy with either of them but prefer the lower height of the V1200. If I could get away with it, I would use a V1000. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
