PS2 with component OR composite video output..

Is there a way to display PS2 on my dell display? Like buying video tuner, new graphic card, ect...

Is there a way to do this without losing too much of IQ?

i had a msi tv@nywhere plus, and it had inputs.

i played xbox, and ps2, it looked ok, as long as i didnt stretch the window all the way.

also there was slight lag, because it was a $30 card.

but doesn't that only have VGA output?

my display has only ONE DVI-DUAL LINK connection... :(

so it has to be at least DVI

x2vga is looking real nice...

it does only support vga....so my question is..

will it work on my dell 30" if i get a DVI to VGA cable?

I dont know how you can plug the PS2 into the X2VGA.
Mine has an Xbox specific connector to take in the XBox video signal and can switch the signal from my PC or Xbox to my screen.
The VGA connectors are for PC in and Video out to the screen.
The magic picture trickery is performed only on the custom XBox input.

If they make a PS2 version then all is good.

Edit:
Aaah I see

The X2VGA 2 is the kiddy.

They do issue this warning though
Playstation 2 Most games can only support 480i mode. Therefore, only those that support 480p, 720p, or 1080i mode can work with the X2VGA 2.

I picked up some PS2 S-Video cables at Gamecrazy and they work fine for the PS2. Burnout Revenge looks great on my Dell 2005FPW. You'll need to get some extra gear if you want audio, though.
