WTF? I load another 2GB of memory in here and weird stuff is happening.

For starters:

Windows only sees 2.75GB. I'm using XP32 so I was prepared for it to not see 4GB. But less than 3? And also, I'm using the /3GB option in boot.ini.

CPU-z sees a total of 4096 MBytes under "General" within the memory tab just like it should.

Uhhh... I confused.

Culprit == XFX 7950GX2
Your other I/O devices are also sucking up those address spaces, but the graphic card is the biggest culprit here.
The system in my sig see 3.6GBs out of 4GBs.

You can reclaim some of the memory by reducing the video aperture.

Not sure how I can reduce the video aperature on my board.

In any case I got the BIOS to see all 4096MB as usable. It took enabling the memory hole option in the BIOS.

But Windows XP32 still only sees 2.75GB. I guess I'll see what happens when I upgrade to Vista eventually.
