ABIT AN7 and USB Ports

I've actually had this problem since the day I've had the board but it never really became an issue until now (just recently purchased an external USB 2.0 hard drive). My USB ports on the motherboard only operate at USB 1.1 speeds. I already have XP SP2, USB 2.0 has already been enabled in the BIOS as well. Anyone know what I can do?
 
As far as I know only 1 of the USB ports on the back of the AN7 are 2.0 the rest are 1.1

Ther are 2 aditional 2.0 USB connections on the inside of the MOBO
