About to drop cable/uverse...couple of questions about HD anntennas

So the family rarely watches anything besides sports on tv. what kind of HD antenna works best? I have seen indoor and outdoor antennas. Any recommendations from the [H]?

It all depends how far away you are from the signal source, and what sort of signal it is. generally speaking, outdoor will always be better. go to antennaweb.org and enter your address and they will recommend an antenna for your specific location.
