I was looking at the NV Silencer 5 Rev. 3 to put on my 7600GT. The only thing that concerns me is that the cooler is only listed for the 6800, 7800 and 7900 series cards. I looked at the cooler however and noticed that the mounting screws are lined up the same as they are on my card and that the only thing that does not line up completely is the RAM sinks, but looking at my current HSF that it came with, it does not appear to cover them either, so I figure this is ok.
Does anyone know if this cooler will fit my card or of anything else that would make it not compatible with this card other than the things listed above? I'm not looking to overclock my graphics card. I'm just trying to quiet down my PC and right now the loudest fan in my whole system is the graphics card one and this needs to stop now.
