Acer Aspire One AOA110 $240 Shipped at newegg. 16gb SSD, 1gb RAM, Linux, 8.9"

Small hard drive and only 3-cell battery, but still, for $240, it's a pretty nice deal. Definitely getting more and more affordable.

And it's much better than the 8gb SSD/512mb ram versions that were selling for $300+ a while ago.

Damn this is what you get when you got a $3000 SLI/i7 desktop at home and you need something to take notes or program with in college :p

If anyone cares... new Eee coming out...

I'm planning to grab one of these...

10" @ 1024x600
6-cell battery @ 9hours +
160GB drive (May replace with a medium size SSD)
Macbook/Island style Keyboard
Wireless N
Bluetooth...
Slightly faster Atom N280 Proc..
And comes with XP...which is nice if you wanna stay legal... I'd rather get it for $50 cheaper without a Cd-Key and install my own copies :)

I wonder how much longer it will be before we start seeing the new nvidia Ion platform on netbooks. I might jump on this deal yet. :(
