Hey wassup guys i am in need of advice for my system future upgrades for my gaming rig....

here's my current setup:
Asus a8n-e
[email protected]
patriot mem 1gb kit @ 2-3-2-5
xfx 6800xt
WD caviar se 16mb cache 160gb(be here tuesday)
lite-on cd-rw
samsung dvd-rom
antec tp-II 500W

im not sure if i wanna go am2 this early....im not rich so please be realistic priced gear

What do you do with your computer? If its for gaming get a new video card and a 2GB memory kit. Fx-55 if still fast. What are you looking to upgrade? You can get a 7900GT for $230 ish.

This is for a gaming computer...im probably gonna upgrade video if i can find a 7800gt or gtx...should i add another gig of ram first or should i do video first?

I'd definitely go with a new gfx card. Go with a 7900GT if you aren't going SLi. Another gig wouldn't hurt

Get the video card first. You will notice the most improvement with that over the ram.

i have heard of the problems with the 7900s so im not sure if its safe to buy them yet....i dont wanna have to rma a card as soon as i get it....id rather live without the hassle also would it be beneficial to upgrade sound now?
