Affordable stabilized aerial videotography

Affordable to who?

That video is very nice. I don't think I have the skill to keep it flying on the path I want and pan the camera around without turning it upside down into a tree.

Affordable relative to renting a helicopter at ~$500/hr if you need aerial videotography for creating an ad, wedding, amateur music video or movie, etc. Paintballer team can split the cost and use it as a battlefield drone.

At first sight it was wrongly associated with RC toys that can be erratic in flight and require active pilot compensation but this thing is pretty smart as it uses GPS and altimeter to auto stabilize so it pretty much flies itself. Seen video where the pilot puts it in auto hover to record video from overhead and walks away from the radio controller. Furthermore, it'll auto fly to last known pilot location if radio control signal is lost and will auto descend/park if both radio control signal is lost and battery is low. Features that are seen in military drones and not RC toys.
