I know this might be a silly question but i thought i'd ask since i've never used/changed this option in bios ever...

There are several choices for Apature size in bios.

My question is, what does this setting do AND what should I set it at?

I'm guessing its memory related (duh!) but should i bump it up all the way or let it at the default 64mb?

I have 1.5 gigs of ddr400 if that helps.

~thanks

its system memory that is used in effect as video card memory. since you have so much ram, i would set it to 128 or 256.

AFAIK, "AGP Aperture" acts a lot like virtual memory (frame buffer, rather) for the graphics card. I usually set it to 1x or 2x the amount of physical frame buffer a card has installed.
