Hey all.

My right speaker in my 2.1 setup just died. Super old $50 Labtec 5.1 setup. 1999 I think? Loved it.

Now I have to replace it.
Guess I can't complain if it lasted 10 years.:D

Any suggestions for a comparable setup for under $100? The cheaper the better.

Ir better yet, I have a spare pioneer 5.1 receiver, and a spare 10 inch 120 Watt HT sub. I could buy a pair of M10 or monitor 30's from newegg, hook up over S/Pdif or optical, and call it a day.
What do you guys think?

Whats the model of the spare Pioneer? If its even remotely decent, pairing it with some Polk Monitor 30's and that subwoofer should be many times greater in quality compared to any "PC speakers".

Just get some bookshelf speakers for $100 and you're set! :D

Don't bother with computer speakers.
