Alternative to Snarl and Growl for Windows?

I tried both of these yesterday and I like the idea of having a unified and consistent notification center for all programs. But both of these seem to lack development on the program itself and the plugins so I can't get all my programs to register to Snarl or Growl. I looked around for other, more up-to-date, notification programs but couldn't find any. Thought I should check with you guys before giving up on this idea.
