Hey guys, I recently put together the system in my sig. Most of the parts are the same as my old intel system, except i bought a A64 3400 / DFI LP / 1GB OCZ EL, same videocard and stuff though. Anyways, on my intel rig, I used to be able to overclock my videocard very high ( 420/1150 ), but with this new A64 system, I cant even break 400/1100 stable, even with ambient temps lower! I'm guessing my Antec True430 isnt "enough", but the thing isnt even loaded yet! All I have is 2 HDD's, 2 optical drives, 6800 GT, and my Aerogate 2. So is this new A64 more power demanding than my old intel? I'd really like to know, because i'll probably purchase a OCZ powerstream 520w if thats the case, but if not, i'd like to save 130$ :D Everything runs 100% fine when the videocard is @ stock speeds btw. Even with my 3400 @ 2.5ghz w/ 1.7v, everything runs fine. But once I OC the card, boom! I get the BSOD and a restart when i run CSS.

Intel P4C 2.6C running @ 3.25ghz ( 1.6v )
1GB ( 4x256 ) PC4000 @ 250mhz 3-4-4-8 ( 2.8v )
Abit AI7 i865 pe

Well, I hooked up the multimeter :D

Ran some tests...

@ 400/1100 1600x1200 CS:S stresstest 8xSS 16xAF the 12v and 5v would not move! They were rock solid :D

Even idling, everything was normal. So I guess it isnt a PSU issue. What can it be??
