Still no profits (loss of $330 million), though it was obviously better than the same period last year where they posted a whooping $1.2 billion loss.

Q2'09 has no write offs, which means the quarter was a little worse than last year from continuing operations. Not too surprising really since the economy is still in a funk. AMD's financial reports show that GF has lost about $494 million in the first 6 months of this year.

Which isn't surprising, since who exactly are GF's customers except for AMD itself ?
