As the topic says, i've been looking for a new monitor to replace the current U2412m.
Here are the requirements:
no PWM
<16ms of input lag
no U2711-like AG
Korean monitors would probably be best for me, but I have a few question about them first:
Are glossy screens dangerous to your eyes?
Catleap, crossover, achieva, they all use the same panels so all should be OC'able too, right?
Here's some monitors i've been checking out, they all miss something, but i'd like to hear some opinions about them anyway:
ASUS PB278Q (PWM flicker?)
Dell U2713HM (hard AG, input lag > 16ms?)
Samsung S27A850D / S27A850TS (lots of backlight bleed, input lag > 16ms?)
Viewsonic VP2770 (very high input lag?)
HP ZR2740w v2 (hard AG?)
So, korean ones would look like the best for me at the moment. I'm planning to use the 27" as main monitor with 2x U2312hm / U2212hm 's mounted on a tri-way stand.
\\e, forgot to meantion usage. Monitor will be used mostly for gaming & programming.
