I'm using two Linksys wireless routers B and G versions basically for portability I need to have more than 4 wired ports besides wireless. I didn't want to spend extra money for switch and just using my old B router for extension.
Now when I'm connecting to my router from my laptop Linksys card G I don't know where I'm connecting to router G or B? Is there is a way to see it? also maybe there is a way to disable wireless portability on B router.

p.s. I installed wireless card for my friend couple weeks ago from Netgear and there you can totally see all the networks around and where you connecting to.

I would just shut off the wireless on the B router if you don't want to use it. On my netgear, I just go into wireless settings, and then uncheck "enable wireless access point." Check and see if you have anything like that.
