It has been 2+ years since the announcement from Bioware, creator of Baldurs Gate, Never Winter Nights, etc...has started their next killer game, a MMORPG, but since then I have not read anything new ? Is there an estimated release >?

Also I forgot there is another new game they started years ago, named "Dragon Age" and was supposed to be released last 07 or early 08 ? What is the status of that ?

Dragon Age Details Arrive Wednesday :D

I thought the Bioware MMO is still in the "rumor" stage of developement?

I know Bioware licensed every scrap of technology that will be used in it, the engine, the development tools, even customer service tools and payment processing.
So instead of building these tools they can focus on the game.

There are two new next generation games coming from Bioware.

First is "Dragon Age" due officially before Spring 2009 per Bioware, so I expect it this Winter maybe. It is supposed to use truly next gen RPG engine, and the game is a 21st century successor to Baldurs Gate, with never before seen gameplay from any other RPG before. Word is there should be a massive media event not too far off to really show off the game and start the hype. Rumor has it the game is like Baldurs Gate + Oblivion but with 2009 technology

Next up in 2010 or so is the Bioware MMORPG, no news at all on this yet really.

One thing that has piqued my curiosity about Dragon Age is that Bioware has said it has some influences from the Song of Ice and Fire books by George R R Martin. In other words a brutal, violent, low-fantasy world marred by politics and back stabbing. Sounds good to me :)

This is so gay of Bioware  They say check the website on July 9th for major news, and all it says it check back on July11th for more news

Too bad he takes ages to write them.

True but at least with the next one we know we will be getting back to the characters that made the stories what they were.

ADD: That is the LAMEST teaser'd update I have ever seen. I mean really lame.

Not sure which is worse that the update sucked so much or that it took them that long to put that oh so informative web page up.

The website states; Dragon Age: Origins, the highly anticipated dark fantasy epic is set to debut on GameTrailers TV airing this Friday night at 1:00am on Spike TV and Spike HD. The trailer will be available in High Definition after it airs at gametrailers.com

Well it is like 16 hours past that time, and still no trailer
