I just got a new Acer AL2416W. It's very nice. I LOVE the widescreen world.. However with CCC's "use centered timings" not working properly has anyone come up with a work-around for games that do not support wide-screen resolutions like 1920x1200, without stretching the image, for monitors that don't have the option to force 1:1? I know nVidia's has come up with solutions that are available to those users but for us ATI folks, are there any options at all?

There are no options at all.
Try www.widescreengamingforum.com and see if you can hack the resolution you require. I know it worked for 95% of my games. SOFII is a bitch though.
