Hi to all....just wanna know what are the default voltages for the following:

SDRAM:
PC66-
PC100-
PC133-

DDR:
166-
200-
333-
400-

DDR2:
533-
667-
800-
1066-

DDR3:
1200-
1333-
1400-
1600-
2000-

Thnx to those who are gonna help me with this!:p

Generally memory voltage runs by type.
For example:
SDRAM: 3.3V
DDR-SDRAM: 2.5V
DDR2-SDRAM: 1.8V
DDR3-SDRAM: 1.5V

Many different sticks, across multiple manufactures and even different models, need different voltages to run at their "specified" frequency/timing. They will/should run at the type's default, just at greatly reduced timings.

Thnx for that!!!:p

So memory types always run at the same voltage, and the speeds doesn't affect the voltage of being higher while in the same memory class?!

The default/standard voltage for a memory class (ddr, ddr2, ddr3) is standardized by JEDEC (http://jedec.org/) for compatibility.

for example, jedec standard settings for DDR2 800 are 800MHz, 5-5-5-18 1.8v

If you have a DDR2 800 module that's requiring higher voltage, then it's non-standard and might not be compatible with a ddr2 motherboard. for example, if a module requires 2.1v, it probably won't be compatible with an intel ddr2 board as the vast majority of ddr2 intel boards don't give you voltage options for more than 1.8v.

Thanks jester....that explains more to me now which is what I was about to ask about back!:p Cheers
