Noticed this after history class today

That plus you need a nuclear reactor if you want to use a Fermi card...

Not bashing, just found it funny. I'll hopefully pick a GTX 470 up if they end up being good :)
 
could also be named after Fermilab becouse the Tesla cards based on it are for heavy science research stuff
OR its named after the Enrico Fermi in keeping with the Tesla name

@_@ I think it's referring to Fermi problems. It's not a coincidence or irony, it's entirely intentional and understandable.
 
Irony would be if Enrico Fermi took 15 months to leave the womb and was missing 7% of his organs at birth.
